If the installation goes ahead, both you and I get a £100 digital gift voucher for a heat pump installation. Octopus says the same £100 reward also applies to solar, while EV charger referrals are lower. Rewards are issued after the installation is completed.

Important things to know
According to Octopus, you do not need to be supplied by Octopus Energy to qualify for the smart tech referral scheme. They also say the referral sign-up email address must match the email used when getting your quote, otherwise they may not be able to track the referral correctly.
Octopus also says the reward is only issued once the installation has been completed, and referral offers cannot be applied retrospectively if the steps were not followed in the right order.
