If you’re trying to find the off peak times on Octopus tariffs, the key thing to know is that each tariff works differently. Some have fixed overnight windows, while others change every day.
Below is a quick summary of the main Octopus Energy tariffs and when electricity is typically cheapest.
All of these options are Time of Use tariffs, so will require a smart meter.

No fixed off peak times. Prices change every 30 minutes based on wholesale markets. Cheap periods are often overnight or during high wind, but they move daily.

Standard off peak window is 23:30 to 05:30 (6 hours). Octopus may also add extra smart charging slots when the grid is cheap.

Fixed off peak window of 00:30 to 05:30 (5 hours). Simple and predictable, mainly aimed at EV charging.
Octopus Cosy

Designed for heat pumps. Instead of one overnight block, Cosy typically has multiple off peak times spread through the day.
Octopus Tracker

No off peak times. One unit rate for the whole day that changes daily with the wholesale market.
